In my work, I challenge traditional distinctions between capturing and producing images photographically by using a variety of techniques. I expose, combine, process, and alter material, including my own and those of others, to create installations.
These installations may include objects, interventions, and books and may incorporate elements like text, performance, the display, appropriation, archives, photography, and painting.
They create experimental, layered works that blur the line between fiction and documentation, reflecting conflicting experiences I made and question our relationships to the past, the sources we trust, and the authorities we give our trust to.
